Giving Back and Supporting Our Community
At Anvy Digital, community involvement has been a cornerstone of our values since our inception in 2002. As a company specializing in print and display production, we leverage our resources to support worthy causes by drawing attention to their events and charitable activities through sponsorships. This year, we are proud to highlight our partnership with PaceKids and share insights into their organization and the events we supported.
PaceKids: A Beacon of Hope
Established in 1994 by a passionate group of parents, PaceKids has been dedicated to supporting children with various disabilities, including Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Global Developmental Delay, Down Syndrome, Brain Injury, and Speech & Language delays. Serving the Calgary area, PaceKids emphasizes the importance of meeting children and families where they are, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
PaceKids has three main events every year that Anvy proudly supports, each is well attended and unique.
1. Keeping Pace
A celebrity dance fashioned after the popular “Dancing with the Stars” TV show, this event transforms into a dance party for guests post-competition. Local business and community leaders perform dance routines, raising funds for PaceKids’ programs. With the help of Arthur Murray Dance Studio, participants rehearse for weeks, culminating in a memorable night of dance, dinner, auctions, and fundraising.
2. Race For Pace
Allows participants to ‘Suit up’ and get ready for Race for Pace! For over a decade, heroes across Calgary have laced up and embraced their inner hero in support of Pacekids Programs. This superhero themed fun run and walk is a family-friendly morning filled with exciting activities, great prizing and awards, and sensory friendly spaces. All proceeds raised will directly support Pacekids and provide critical programs and services to over 600 children and families this year.
3. Putting For Race
On June 10, 2024, Pacekids golfers and supporters hit the greens at Cottonwood Golf & Country Club to raise money for Pacekids programming. Our day was a great success, raising over $60,000! We are very grateful for the generous community uplifting us and can’t wait to do it all again in 2025.
